Dear PRBC Church Family and Friends:
First, let me remind you that if there are things you need and cannot get due to the circumstances in our local stores, please let us know and we will coordinate a supply run! Stay safe and cautious. And feel free to reach out if you need a pastoral or diaconal visit for any reason.
Secondly, thus far the “recommendation” from Burnet County is that gatherings be limited to 10 people or less. This is not yet a restriction like it is in Austin, where a violation brings a fine. As long as it remains a recommendation we are comfortable continuing to meet for worship as we will likely fall under the CDC recommendation of gatherings under 50 people.
That said, we will not fault anyone for not gathering on Sunday. If you are at particular risk, under doctor’s orders, or not feeling well, certainly we hope you stay home. If you would rather avoid the “crowd” we encourage those who are able to gather in homes with just a few families. We are working on being able to live stream the service on Facebook, but also know many members do not use Facebook. As always the sermon will be recorded and posted on Sermon Audio on Sunday afternoon, Lord willing.
As was said last Sunday, opportunities abound to love your neighbors! Be light in the darkness, offering good news and hope that is only found in our Lord Jesus.
As this is a situation changing almost daily, stay tuned to our website and your email for updates.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Last I heard God was in control. If I’m to get sick, injured, or even die then I know there is some purpose in it. Maybe even just to humble me and strengthen my reliance on Him. We’ll be there Sunday to worship the risen Savior and pray for sanity for out country. FEAR NOT
