A Note Concerning Worship Meetings

PRBC Church Family and Friends,

We will be meeting for Sunday school and worship as regularly scheduled this Sunday, March 15.

I do know that several of you have been advised by your doctor to avoid public gatherings due to risk factors and we certainly understand that and encourage you to follow your doctor’s counsel. If you are not feeling well, of course we understand staying home in that circumstance as well. The sermon will be available online Sunday afternoon.

If you are well and able, we will continue to meet for worship as scheduled with those willing to gather.

There is not one stray molecule (or germ) in the universe – our God is sovereign. How fitting as we work through verses from Isaiah 53 in the New Testament that our message this week comes from Matthew 8, a chapter full of Jesus fulfilling Isaiah 53:4 as He heals the sick. Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”

If you have any questions, or any needs during this uncertain time, please do not hesitate to ask! Let us know how we can be praying for you and remember, today is the day of salvation. In the face of fear, we preach Christ!
