October 11 – Day of Prayer and Fasting

Wednesday, October 12, one of our pastors, Billy Cenea, has a second interview at the US Embassy in Haiti in an attempt to get them to approve his Religious Worker Visa so that he can return to the United States.

Believing it is God’s will for him and his family to be here, serving our church and the kingdom of God, we want to devote ourselves to prayer and fasting as we seek the Lord, asking for the visa to be approved, and for God to show Himself strong in these circumstances.

From a human perspective, we have done all that we can do. We have seen multiple answers to prayer already to open this door and get out petition to file for the visa approved. Now we are setting aside a day on Tuesday, October 11, for those who are willing and able, to petition, not the government, but the King of Kings, on the Cenea family’s behalf.

Matthew 6:16 “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
