In Memory – Herbert Alan Way


DadHerbert Alan Way, 71, passed away February 12, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, on December 30, 1946, to Robert Livingston Way and Agnes Kathryn (Kidd) Way.

He was a graduate of Arlington Heights High School class of 1965 and was ranked as an E-5 Sgt., in the US Marine Corps. He was a master carpenter, member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Way, Sr., and Agnes K. Cox; and his brother, Robert L. Way, Jr.

Herbert is survived by his children, Phillip M. Way and his wife Renée of Round Rock, TX; Sarah Tucker and her husband Dan of Aledo, TX;  Stephen B. Way of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Madison Way, Braelynn Way, Caleb Tucker and Ava Tucker; brothers, David Way, Douglas Way, Richard Aghamalian, Robert Aghamalian; and sister, Rebecca Threatt.

A memorial fund has been set up through the church with gifts supporting To Every Tribe Missions and The Gideons International in honor of his work with River Ministry missions, ministry through building projects in the community, and church construction.
