Phillip M Way, Pastor-Teacher

Phillip was called to new life in Christ at age 9, called to preach at age 14, and ordained to the gospel ministry at age 20. He graduated with high honors in Biblical Studies from The Criswell College in Dallas, Texas, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Divinity program in Puritan Studies at The Log College and Seminary based in Sumter, SC. In 1997 he was the church planting pastor for PRBC after previously serving churches in Irving, Amherst, and Lubbock, Texas. He also serves as Director of TIME in the Word Ministries. He and Renee have been married since 1994.
Billy Cenea, Associate Pastor

Billy was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, in 1984. He has been involved in full time evangelistic mission works since 2010, including serving to facilitate missions to Haiti providing for medical and spiritual needs in several orphanages and private schools. His ministry, Church Today, has been focused on calling the church to to the foundational principles of the gospel, namely the five solas, biblical preaching, true fellowship, and purity through church discipline. Billy is currently on assignment as a missionary from our church working as a partner with Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo in the Dominican Republic. He and Nathalie have 3 children.
Rich Beavers, Elder

Rich and his wife Rosie are native Texans, married in 1973. BS in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin. Retired from the U.S. Navy where he served as nuclear trained enlisted and officer in the submarine service. Also retired from the South Texas Project near Bay City where he worked as an Engineering Supervisor and a Senior Reactor Operator/Unit Supervisor. Saved by the Lord at some non-time in eternity past and he realized it on May 15, 1984. (He says he’s a little slow). Has previously served at other churches as teacher, deacon and elder, and has been here at PRBC as member, teacher and deacon since 2016. He loves to teach and discuss scripture and particularly how true science and scripture never conflict.
James Moore, Evangelist

James has taught conferences on Biblical Evangelism in 7 countries, taking attendees out onto the streets to open-air preach and hand out tracts after training. He currently serves as the President of Christians Sharing Christ (founded 1969 in Costa Rica), an international ministry dedicated to reaching people in Latin America and the US with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Previously he served as head of Evangelism for Barabbas Road Church in California and was an ambassador for Living Waters Ministries in Latin America. When not traveling to Latin America, he preaches at local beaches and parks, public events, and on College campuses. His greatest desire is to make Christ known through the proclamation of the Gospel. James & Maribeth have been married since 2002.

Esther Jones, Accompanist

Esther has been playing hymns for church since she was a teen, and it is one of her greatest pleasures to serve her Lord and his church in this way. She has a BS in music from Howard Payne University with a concentration in vocal music. She has worked as a music teacher and an art teacher for both public and Christian schools and has private students as well. She offers piano, voice, and flute lessons online or in person to all ages.
